Finca La Patricia is located four hours south of Ecuador’s capitol, Quito. The great location of the finca (farm) with a temperate climate allows for the production of a unique-flavored cacao. The temperature at finca La Patricia ranges from 20°C to 33°C year-round. The finca has been owned by the Tapia-Tamayo family since 2006, and since then, the family has continued to strive for organic farming methods to provide the best cacao products to customers worldwide. Finca La Patricia is surrounded by other cacao farms, which allows us to share our best cacao farming practices with the surrounding region. At Finca La Patricia, we embrace sustainable farming and fair partnerships with fincas located in the neighboring region.
